Question about Cars & Trucks
I have 2001 holden astra ,bought aI notice that after the car has been running for about 20 minutes the temperature goes up to half way the car starts running
Look at scan tool data, collected on a road test
If you just bought it,lay it up for a couple weeks,
& do preventative maintenance, like no one ever
worked on it before & most likely haven't

Save hours of searching online or wasting money on unnecessary repairs by talking to a 6YA Expert who can help you resolve this issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.

SOURCE: astra ecu
As far as I know you need to replace the ECU, Immobilizer and the key switch as they are all programmed to talk to one another. You will need to re-program the replacement ECU.

Sounds like a fuel problem , have you changed the fuel filter in a while ? could be the knock sensor or the knock sensor module needs to be replaced.

try a simple diy job of replaceing the lambda probe (in between the exhaust manifold and the first box on the exhaust pipe).a quickfit type exhaust centre will do it in mins..
