SOURCE: AC Clutch bearing on Suburban making racket, loose

You can buy a bypass pulley for about 40 bucks and lose the ac, or you can replace the clutch only with one from a used unit( req's snap ring pliers and some dexterity) if you don't want to remove the compressor and have to recharge the refrigerant.

SOURCE: replace heater core on 2002 Buick Rendezvous

Hi there,

Well the heater core is located under the dash on the passenger side, usually cased in a plastic housing. You may have to remove the glove box in order to have access to. And when you get to the point, when you are disconnecting the coolant lines and remove the core you use some clothes to protect the carpet as fluid may drip. Post comments for further help or information........
Good Luck!!

Thanks for using FixYa!!

02 buick rendezvous no heat

sounds like heater core went out or is stopped up. Is the floorboard wet on either side of the car? Either flush the system with a cheap kit for about $25 or look at getting a new heater core. Usually these are behind the dash but usually easy to get to.

My 05 rendezvous brakes are squeeling. I changed the rotors and the pads twice in 6 weeks and still have the constant squeel th whole whil I am braking?

did you put compound on the back of the pads?
did you clean rotors before installing them? they come with an oily coating on them that will cause a noise if not removed.

are all of your clips in good shape?

Shrill sound on right front

have your brake pads checked they may bee due for service there is a brake indicator on the pads that when the pads run low the indicator will make contact with the rotor then it will make a squealing sound :]
