Fuel v apor system is on the fuel tank. There is a carbon filter that filters gas fumes before it is realeased. Gas caps can also throw these codes. Holes in the lines or anything of that nature. Could possibly be the sensor itself bad on top of the tank. Either way, the tank will have to be pulled.

What would cause the Turbo on my 2010 Mondeo not to work in 1st & 2nd gear ? but works ok in the rest

check the turbo vane actuator is operational or the vacuum hose to it is not cracked or broken
the system can become difficult to operate from heat
in the turbine side ( exhaust) there is a series of vanes that move to direct the gas flow better onto the turbine wheel for better acceleration at low engine speeds as the gas flow in creases these vanes move outwards for better gas low
remember that the only thing that makes a turbo is exhaust and it has to be hot from extra fuel being burnt and expanding to spin the turbine wheel
at light engine loads that fuel is not being supplied and so if the vanes are not moving freely the turbo will not perform properly
Take it to an accredited turbo specialist for tests and a proper diagnosis and quote

How to bleed the fuel system in the 2009 Mondeo after changing the fuel filter on a diesel

You don't. You just crank the engine until it starts. Modern vehicles work on a pressurised system with a return back to the tank. The fuel is pumped from the tank to the injectors and excess fuel is returned to the tank.

You have a problem is a device called the vapor recovery system for the gas filler neck and tank. You will need a dealer to find the problem.

What is vapor lock?

Vapor lock is when a fluid in a closed system, such as in a hydrolic system, gets get hot enough to boil and produce vapor which unlike a fluid can be cimpressed thus rendering hydrolic systems inoperative. Fluids act as a solid when pressure is exerted on to them but in their gaseous state (vapor) they can be compressed and the pressure needed to move pistons is instead absorbed by the gas rather than applied to the pistons.

Obd-2 code p1455

DTC P1455 - Substantial Leak or Blockage in Evaporative Emission Control System

The PCM monitors the complete EVAP control system for no purge flow, the presence of a large fuel vapor leak or multiple small fuel vapor leaks. The system failure occurs when no purge flow (attributed to fuel vapor blockages or restrictions), a large fuel vapor leak or multiple fuel vapor leaks are detected by the EVAP running loss monitor test with the engine running (but not at idle).

Check this possible causes:
After-market EVAP hardware (such as fuel filler cap) non-conforming to required specifications
Disconnected or cracked fuel EVAP canister tube, EVAP canister purge outlet tube or EVAP return tube
EVAP canister purge valve stuck closed
Damaged EVAP canister
Damaged or missing fuel filler cap
Insufficient fuel filler cap installation
Loose fuel vapor hose/tube connections to EVAP system components
Blockages or restrictions in fuel vapor hoses/tubes (items also listed under disconnections or cracks)
Fuel vapor control valve tube assembly or fuel vapor vent valve assembly blocked
Canister vent (CV) solenoid stuck open
Mechanically inoperative fuel tank pressure (FTP) sensor

Check for audible vacuum noise or significant fuel odor in the engine compartment or near the EVAP canister and fuel tank

Tell us news.
