How do I install hill decent on ford territory?

The territory comes with hill decent as a optional extra, is it a matter of installing a switch to operate or is it a bit more complex

Much more complex! Hill descent controls the accelerator, brakes and traction.

Testimonial: "Ok Mikey, thanks for the help. I was hoping because it has traction and cruise control that it would be simple upgrade (wishful thinking) thanks again"

Hill descent is a superb bit of kit on any all wheel drive vehicle only if using off-road! I believe the cost of adding this to your vehicle from new was 900 aus dollars, this still could be added but you would need the electronic control module along with the switch!

Towing capacity of a a988-90 ford bronco II with auto transmission

Don't. Just don't. It's a French designed transmission and doesn't handle extra torque well. The 2.9L and 3.0L motors do have decent power but they are under supported by the automatics. If you are determined to try anyways, try and keep it below 1,200lbs and stray away from steep hills.

Ford territory back seat console can it be removed

Ok it had to be installed right? I am not up to date with the ford territory's but most installs are basically the same. Look inside of console on the bottom will most likely be small squares of plastic with a notch on one side. Using a small regular screwdriver pry it and all others up to reveal the bolt. remove all and it should come out! I seriously don't think that ford would mount it from underneath the car. But anything is possible after 2005! Things got harder to work on! good luck! And let me know how it goes.

Btw, I’m available to help over the phone in case u need at

Why is my Ford territory oil pressure light intermittently coming on

Good Day

Firstly check your all Oil pressure switches if they are not faulty.
Remove your electrical oil pressure switch and fit a mechanical oil pressure switch and start the motor:Oil Pressure reading should be between 4-8 bar on the gauge.
Motor must be at working temperature.
If Oil Pressure is below 4 bar their could be a problem on your crankshaft.Depending on milage.
Your Big end and Main bearings determine your oil pressure.
If the engine milage is high this can cause oil pressure fluctuation as their is wear on the bearings.

Can a 2005 awd territory be driven on rear tail shaft only

With an AWD vehicle there is a diff in the transfer case that allows different speeds between front and read axles . If you have 4wd button (lever ) that allows the diffs to be locked for slippery /off road conditions then it can be driven with out the front drive shaft if you have it in 4wd. If you do not have that option then without the front drive shaft it will go nowhere.
