Replacing a fuse for my wipers. Which fuse goes to the wipers. I don't have a manual

If you don't know what fuse it is how do you know it's dead ? Maybe ,more then likely the wiper motor is bad ! Myself , I would check power at the wiper motor > Find a wiring diagram at to see what wire is the power wire . Because if the fuse were blown it would be because of a short circuit on that wire or the motor itself ! A 2001 dodge , I would suspect the wiper motor being bad .

My windshield wipers completely stopped working. My mechanic said that a wire had come loose. They worked of 3 seconds and then stopped again. Now the mechanic states that it is the windshield wiper...

if the motor is bad. go to the local junk yard and find one for your car if possible! a way to check the wiper motor to see if its bad. is power getting to motor! with wiper switch on, if it is then motor is bad. or you can run a jumper wire from positive on battery to positve on motor itself. if it is good, it will turn on. check power to motor first. good-day! if no power to motor it may possibly be the switch or wiring, if all fuses are ok.

Front windshild wiper is not working but back ones are. what is my problem?

The fuse could be blown, or the motor could be bad, or the switch may be bad, or the wiring in between.

2000 chevy blazer.....front window wipers in-op....tried changing the fuse but still wont work

The wiper motor could be bad...the only wat to know is to check for voltage at the wiper motor. If the fuse is good and you have 12VDC to the motor...then the motor is bad. If you don't see voltage at the motor, I would suspect a bad wiper motor switch.

Good Luck,

Front wipers don't work

Winshield wipers inoperative in all switch positions:

Does your windshield washer work? Check circuit breaker in fuse panel. If it is good then you may have either a bad wiper motor or switch. If you have a volt meter check the white wire (going off 93 wiring color code) on wiper motor connector with switch in low to see if you have 12 volts. If you have 12 volts then you may have a bad wiper motor. If you don't then you may have a bad switch. Hope this helps.
