Without knowing too much about this particular unit, I'll make one suggestion. When it does work, see if you can find a reset option in your setup options.

2006 jeep cherokee radio screen has lines running thru it, radio works fine. Is this a fuse problem?

No. It's a radio screen problem. Being an 06, if it still works, keep listening.

I just bought a 2004 Cadillac CTS without navagation and can not figure out how to set the clock. Owner's manual doesn't offer solution.

This worked on my 04 CTS. This is a CTS without the GPS.

1) Turn key to On or Accy
2) Wait for the radio/clock display to load up.
3) Push the Tune/Select button at the lower right of the radio display. Nothing will appear to change.
4) There is a button to the right of the radio diplay with two horizontal lines on it. Push the lower of the two horizontal lines. The clock set option should appear.
5) Turn the Tune/Select button until the time is correct.
6) Push the Tune/Select button to lock the time in.

Hope this helps.

Just changed the battery for the first time in 2004 crv LX model. Everything fine, but radio/cd etc just has the word COde across the display and nothing will work...??? what is the code and/or how do I...

Whenever you disconnect a car battery, the radio needs to have the Security code installed. It is for theft protection. It is the code you programed into it when you bought the car. If you bought the car new, the code is usually a series of zero's, usually 3 or 4. If you bought the car used, you may have to contact the previous owner, & ask what they used as a radio code, or if they recoded it. If that is not possible, you'll have to take it to a dealer, to have the radio reprogrammed. If you have an owners manual, it will be described in there also, on how to do it all.

Remove car stereo mercedes c250

Look at the lower corners of the radio. If there are thin horizontal slots about 1/4" wide, then you need special keys to release the radio. You can make some if you can't find them for sale. (DO THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK! Better to buy the tools or pay an install shop to release) You'll need two thin metal pieces about 4 inches long thin and just narrow enough to slide into the slots. Don't insert them very far until you finish. Mark at one end of each piece a line across it about 1/2" from the end. Now mark from one of the corners at that end over about 1/8". Use metal shears to cut an angle from the 1/8" mark to the opposite side of the mark made across the piece. So you should have a slanted end. Take a file, preferably a "V" file and file a small notch about halfway down the angled edge. Insert the tools carefully into the slots on the radio with the notched edges facing inward. About an inch or so in, you should feel a click. Stop when you feel that and pry inward on both tools. You are trying to depress spring clips that lock the radio into the dash.

This system can be scanned for faults, you need that scan done to see what is wrong in the electronics, this takes a dealer level scan tool.
