Testimonial: "have done all that, still does it. Could there be a problem with the throttle body assembly itself....it clearly states DO NOT CLEAN THROTTLE BODY which may cause damage to it.....have ran inj cleaner thru it with no change... but it runs fine after it warms up"

SOURCE: Stalls when engne warms up
Your ECT (Engine Coolant Temp) sensor is bad. What's happening is at cold start it richens up the fuel mixture and as it warms up the ECM thinks it's still cold and essentially the "choke" is still on. Also check your coolant level. If you don't have enough coolant in you engine/radiator, the ECT doesn't know what to do so it thinks it's cold.

sounds like the clutch isnt engaging properly in the situations you described. may need to check fluid levels if there ok. then may need to get serviced or checked at least

I have same problem (87 1.8 Carb Clipper), thought it was rust from fuel tank getting in Carb, changed the tank and fuel filler pipe but still have problem (but not as frequent). I'm gonna get it tuned (mixture and timing etc), also try fuel pump relay and check choke.....fingers crossed.
