I believe its 50 ft/lbs for the nut and the lock nut. If you're talking about a 4x4, if it's a 2wd and you mean the spindle nut, then I'll have to get back to you. Cheers.

Torque specs 05 freestyle front suspension

Torque is from 25 pounds to 100 pounds. Depends on what is torqued. Smaller thread sizes are low, bigger ones are high. Your highest is the lug nuts for the wheels. Most are around 100 pounds. Axles are around 75.

What size is axle nut on 2006 ford freestyle

Wow, we can't just say I don't have a clue can we?

The axle/hub nuts are 32mm according to numerous posts on myfordfreestyle.com. Pop the center cap on your wheel and slightly loosen the lug nuts AND axle nut before raising the vehicle.

This nut is extremely tight, and has Ford blue Loc-Tite on it. It is not accessible with a Crescent wrench, and will not come off easily. Replace with a new nut if at all possible, and re-torque to 200 Nm/148 ft./lbs. - not 258 ft/lbs. as stated several places online.

Hope this answers your question, and good luck!

Abs light on after replacing hub bearing

Sounds like the ABS sensor has failed, or is unplugged. If someone did the work for you, take it back. Otherwise check the sensor on the right front. Replace as necessary. Also ask the Q at MyFordFreestyle.com
