Question about 2010 Hyundai Veracruz
I have a 2010 Hyundai Veracruz had dead battery was dead, tried to jump start, no luck battery is fully recharged. Turning on key all dash lights and gauges works but nothing when key is turned on. No relay noise or starter noise, nothing. Helplease
If you are sure the battery is charged and nothing happens when you turn the key you have a poor wiring connection somewhere or possibly an poor connection internal to the battery. First, turn on the headlights, then try to start the car. If the headlights go dim when you do that, you have a bad connection. If they stay bright, you are not completing the starting circuit. The most likely cause is a bad battery post connection. Remove the terminals and clean them to shiny metal then replace and try again. If that does not work try it again with a new battery.

There is NO possible electrical cause (within REASON) which would create the problem you describe. I assume you tried the Keyless Entry Remote to DIS-ARM the anti-theft system. If the ALARM system was activated, it will stay activated until it's de-activated by the remote (typical design feature). The best SOLUTION is to take vehicle into Hyundai an have the problem diagnosed.

Check the starter relay.

Testimonial: "The starter relay was going to be my next purchase and you just confirmed it. I hope thats it. Thank you!"
Is the battery new or just charged. the battery could be the problem. Check the cables for corrosion or loose connections. The cables can corrode inside the insulation near the battery this can be seen by swollen cables.

yes' it sounds like a bad solenoid to me. you can check with a volt meter to see if there is voltage going thru the solenoid to be sure.
