The horn press switch is not making contact! Prise it off and check the contact underneath, might need readjusting or could be broken!

Would it be better to just run a wire from the horn & get anuther horn for the inside of my truck because this is starting to sound expensive

Sure just connect the existing horn wire to new horn. Make sure there is a good ground connection. Then try the horn, if it works you're in business. If not, then the horn strip in the steering wheel is bad.

Re: 2006 Nissan Quest - horn does not work -tried changing the fuse and the relay but still horn is dead

Was the fuse you changed blown ?
Did you test the Relay?

Did you not put battery voltage directly to the horn
first, to see if it worked?

Can't do all you did without knowing how those items
work & how to test them

You have to work off wiring diagrams, to learn the circuit
& decide how & where to test it, to find the fault

My horn is not working from in side my. Pathfinder

beneath the horn on the steering there are press buttons which send current to the horn when u press it.perhaps the wire conection is messed up, first check the horn fuse if its ok then life the steering horn cover and see if u can press them with hand n it works.

1993 Nissan Pathfinder fuel-pump not getting power despite changing fuses. Problem has happened before & mechanic who repaired that said he just changed fuses & that solved the problem. Please help

If it is blowing fuses, it has not been 'fixed'-the fuel pump is drawing more current than the circuit was designed to handle, pointing to two possiblilties, either a fault in the wiring harness to the pump, or the pump itself is drawing too much current duo to wear possibly overheating due to running the tank low-gas 'cools' the fuel pump so running a tank low is often fatal to a fuel pump, especially an older one. You might try switching the fuel pump relay with one that is not used as much (like an ABS or horn relay) to see if it makes any difference, but you probably will need to plan a fuel pump replacement in the near future.

I need to replace a horn on a 1995 pathfinder

Are you sure it is the horn and not the relay or are you just wanting a different type sound? The fuse boxes under the hood hold the relays for a lot of the devices.

Horn will not work, I buy a new horn, check it, works I replace the horn relay works, check horn fuse working and yet horn won't make any sound.?

If you ground out one or the other of the 2 terminals with a test light, the horn should sound.
If not, then the horn is bad, or there is no current going to it.
