a friend of mine set the crankshaft, it turns out that the key-way is on top and is the mark for the lower part. we looked in the haynes manual for the top cam-shaft's. we never had a cam-shaft alignment tool but found a scrap piece of metal that worked perfectly for the cam-shaft alignment. the timing belt is on one side of the engine and on the other side of the cam-shafts are slots where the cam-shaft alignment tool, you have a 25% chance of getting it right and we got lucky on the 1st try, thanx any way.

The thrust bearing is normally a part of a new clutch kit.Comprises pressure plate, clutch plate and thrust bearing.You will need to remove the gear box to change the bearing.The bearing basically slides onto the gearbox shaft. Recommend changing all three rather than just the beaing.You may want to get quotes from garages as dealers are expensive.

pop out shaft and then remove seal with a pry bar, what i do is drill a little hole in the seal and screw a small screw into it this gives u somthing to pull againstit will be a bit stickey and tight but it will come out, then use the old seal to fit the new one.
