You don't

Only Ford & Mazda have a fuel safety shut off sw

Wouldn't be an issue anyway unless in an accident

As you described , there may be many reasons , after fuel filter may be faulty injector or no supply to the injector.
You have to check whether fuel injector getting power supply or not.

Buy a code reader or borrow one if you have a friend that has one. Sounds like ICM (Igniton Control) Or if it isnt fire then try fuel filters. Could even be water in the fuel. hard call without inspecting it

Have you checked fuel pressure to see if it is within spec? Have you changed your fuel filter? Do you have any vacuum leaks? Is idle control valve working properly? Are your spark plugs gapped properly?
