3 things can cause this.

1. The Turbo is shot and needs to be replaced.

2. You have a faulty waste gate.

3. You have bad exhaust leaks.

SOURCE: Low oil pressure light goes on until car warms up. Oil level is good

The oil pressure sending unit has gone bad. I sending unit is just above the oil filter and you can get to it from the top. When you face the Engine look down towards the oil filter, the oil pressure sending unit is just above that and it looks like a cylinder with two wires coming from it. If you don't see it, it's right between the exhaust manifold and oil filter.
If you go to Auto Zone or Parts Source, they'll have the oil pressure sending unit and the step by step instructions, When installing the new sensor. Do not use teflon tape or any sealant, the sensor is tapered and need's the good ground from the engine to give you right readings.
Good luck and hope this helps.

SOURCE: what would cause low fuel pressure

A bad fuel pump causes low fuel pressure.

Consider replacing it. It is located in the fuel tank beneath the back seat.

Good luck.

SOURCE: oil pressure low

DON'T DRIVE ANOTHER MILE !!!! The 1.8 is known for a sludge buildup in the engine. This is the exact symptem that shows its head. The car HAS to be TOWED to a garage before you cause any further damage. Do a google search, "vw 1.8 sludge", and see what comes up...

Full brake air pressure on Daf CF but gauges read zero, buzzer remains 'on'and dash reads 'low brake air pressure' and ABS fault.-- fitted sensor unit at air dryer but no change. Help would be great

check the air pressure switch at the tank supply line at the foot ( treadle ) valve if that switch is not operational then it may be where the system is not getting a full pressure report
you should have a pressure reading on the air gauges in the dash as they read from the air tanks
remove the compressor line to the tank and check for air flow from the compressor when running as some european built trucks have the steel line as n air cooling line and they tend to carbon up internally and block air flow( scania in particular uses a pipe shaped as a coil that was very bad in design

2006 HYUNDAI Elantra develops heavy black smoke and low pulling power runs 147198kms. Please supply the causes

the cause of the heavy black smoke is un-burnt fuel. is from excessive fuel pressure, faulty injectors, ignition timing out. If it is a turbo operation then the turbo is not producing the correct boost for the fuel settings . Check turbo for vane actuation . low power comes from overfuelling, low air flow. run the fault codes to see which sensors are out of parameter.

What cause transmission too have low pressure on my 2001 Grand Prix

On a vehicle that old, usually failed (leaky) internal seals are the cause. A clogged filter/screen will also cause pressure to be low at the valve body, or a damaged seal between the screen and the valve body can cause the transmission to suck air, making it appear to "slip."

Could a bad throttle body cause a low hum while driving and a turbo underboost error code?

Has to be at a shop that works on turbos

None of the code checking etc, without vehicle
system knowledge, is of any value to you

Throttle Body is not humming

If you can buy factory manuals for lots of money,
maybe you can work on it, when you have trouble charts to follow

Throttle Plate Angle or % is subject to constant change, so unless
your friend knows the vehicle systems, then you wouldn't be here

I have a 98 audi a4 1.8 t was told its has low and high pressure regulators and the low pressure isnt working right

Need to know what sort of pressure was being discussed, and what the symptoms are.
There is no low pressure regulator I know of in the fuel, oil, or anything else, except perhaps if it has turbo charging.
So unless you can be more specific, I don't think they were telling you correctly.

1984 New Yorker 2.2 Turbo oil pressure low on ilde

I think you have a suspect oil pressure sender unit. Replace it as they are cheap and need to be reliable and it will be cheaper than getting the oil pressure tested. If the light still stays on with the new sender you may have internal wear or a partial blockage. If the light stays on you need to have it urgently checked by a mechanic or you could risk serious engine damage.

Oil light blinks on my 2004 vw jetta

has the dealer hooked up a mechanical test guage to see if the oil pressure is really low? If it is low make them fix it, low oil pressure will destroy the engine in a very short time. Low oil pressure is caused by either worn engine bearings or a defective oil pump.
