Could be the battery or alternator I would have both checked at your local parts store.

How do i jumpstart my phone?

I am unclear what you mean when you say "jumpstart"

If your battery is no good then that's that there is no jump starting.

If the phone's battery is not charging you can use another device of the same model to charge the battery or use an external charger.

that's just assuming that I have somewhat of an idea of what you're talking about, we are talking about a cell phone aren't we? Anyway just let me know or repost your question.

Good luck and thanks

2002 kia spectra won't start. I got a jumpstart and it starteded but cut off after about 2 minutes and would not restart.

Sounds lie the battery is not getting charged by the alternator. If you slow charge the battery overnight and it retains a charge for a while then eventually dies, it may be good and the alternator needs to be replaced. If the battery does not hold a charge, you will need to replace the battery and have the alternator tested to see if it is faulty.

Dont start

You have a charging / electrical discharge fault....unless you are competent to measure voltages and chech charge rates then leave it to the experts...the local garage.

Dead Battery wont even stall should I charge it using jumper cables??

You can jumpstart using jumper cables. Then drive car around to get battery charged back up or get a battery charger and charge battery.

check to make sure the alternator is charging the battery.crank engine while idling the alternator out put should be 13.5 volts to 14.5 volts. if not alternator is not charging the battery.if alternator is charging battery.the battery is weak.if its over 5 years old its more likely battery.if battery not old checks out good .replace battery cables..

Gauges quit working and battery died jumpstarted went approx 1 mile and it did the same thing.

Charge the battery to full. Start engine and apply voltmeter to battery posts. Reading should be 13.5-14.5 volts runing. If you read normal battery voltage then alternator is not charging. Check all fuses with test light. Power on both sides of same fuse o?k. Power on one side and not the other burnt fuse. Sometimes when looking at fuses they seem o/k. If they burn close to one end it can be difficult to see. Suggest using test light to be sure. There is a gauge fuse in the system and if it goes it stops power to the regulator on the alt. Hence "no charge" Hopr this helps
