My 2002 2 wheel has vibration in front end whan i go 55-60 miles per hour. alot of shake in the steering wheel also. what could be the culprit

Hi Mikey. Take the vehicle for wheel balancing and alignment. Get the technician at the centre to inspect the steering and suspension linkages while he's doing the alignment, but I think wheel balancing will sort out your problem. Regards John

Steering wheel and tire issue

Have a front end suspension check done to eliminate any worm ball joints -shockies- worn suspension rubbers-- steering problems. If ok have a wheel alignment done and have the rear end aligned first as it affects the front alignment. The violent wobble is castor wobble and indicates negative castor possible from sagging suspension springs. The camber is out at that results in the car following every dip in the road. The camber has to work in conjunction with the toe-in measurement and if the 2 are not correct then you will have problems.

Car shakes when reaching 45 to 55 miles per hour

sounds like a broken belt in a tire or the wheels need rebalanced. i would recommend that you have your tires rotated and balanced by a trusted tire store.

Front end of car stutters and shakes when applying brakes at speeds exceeding fifty miles per hour

sounds like the front rotors are warped, sometimes they can be machined as long as they are within the minium thickness. I hope this helps, good luck

Front end shakes violently ay 40 milss per hour

have a look at your tires,to see if there is uneven wear, also for a little money, have your wheel alignment and tracking angle checked, these are the usual causes of shaking at undefined speeds....

P.S. does the shaking go away above 45 m.p.h.
if so, then its your wheel balancing

Vehicle hakes when driving 45 to 50 miles per hour

Check wheel balance,
check steering linkages for loosness - such as tie rod ends, steering rack linkages etc,
check driveline for worn/loose joints and bearings.
