Immobiliser issues Kia sportage . 2012 AWD Cranks but won't start . Immobiliser light comes on .

If the immobilizer light is coming on and the engine is cranking but not starting, it's likely that the immobilizer system is not recognizing the key and is preventing the engine from starting. Here are a few things you can try:
  1. Check the battery in the key fob: Make sure the battery in the key fob is not dead. A low battery can cause the immobilizer system to not recognize the key.
  2. Try a different key: If all three keys are not working, it's possible that the immobilizer system itself is faulty. Try a different key to see if the problem persists.
  3. Check the immobilizer system: If the problem persists with all keys, it's possible that there is a problem with the immobilizer system itself. This could be a faulty immobilizer module, antenna coil, or wiring. You may need to have the system diagnosed and repaired by a professional mechanic.
  4. Check the fuel system: If the immobilizer system is not recognizing the key, the fuel system may not be primed correctly. Check the fuel pressure and ensure that the fuel pump is working properly.
It's important to have this issue diagnosed and repaired as soon as possible to avoid further damage to the engine or electrical system. If you're unsure about driving the vehicle, have it towed to a repair shop.

2003 Toyota Camry engine immobilizer

The engine immobilizer is an anti-theft system found on many newer vehicles, including the 2003 Toyota Camry. When the engine immobilizer is activated, the car's engine will not start unless the correct key is used. This helps to prevent unauthorized individuals from starting and driving the vehicle.
To deactivate the engine immobilizer, you will need to use the correct key. If you do not have the correct key, you may need to have a new key made or have the immobilizer system deactivated by a professional.
If you are having problems with the engine immobilizer system on your 2003 Toyota Camry, it is recommended to take the vehicle to a Toyota dealership or a qualified mechanic for diagnosis and repair.

Have a 2007 Mitsubishi Raider won't start changed starter took after market alarm system out had locksmith come out to make new key he was able to plug into ECM get code but would not read old or new key

Based on the information you have provided, it sounds like the problem with your 2007 Mitsubishi Raider is likely related to the immobilizer system. The immobilizer system is a security feature that prevents your car from starting unless it recognizes the correct key. When you had the locksmith come out to make a new key, they were able to get the code from the ECM, but they were not able to read either the old or new key. This suggests that there is a problem with the immobilizer system itself. There are a few things that could be causing this problem. One possibility is that the immobilizer chip in the key is damaged. Another possibility is that the immobilizer module in the car is defective. To diagnose the problem, you will need to take your car to a qualified mechanic. They will be able to scan the car's computer for error codes and test the immobilizer system. Once the problem has been diagnosed, they will be able to repair or replace the necessary components. Here are some of the common causes of immobilizer problems: Damaged key Defective immobilizer module Faulty wiring Corrupted software If you are having trouble starting your car, it is important to have the immobilizer system checked as soon as possible. Driving with a malfunctioning immobilizer system can be dangerous, as it could allow someone to start your car without the correct key. Here are some tips for preventing immobilizer problems: Keep your keys in a safe place and avoid dropping them. Avoid exposing your keys to extreme temperatures or moisture. Have your immobilizer system checked regularly by a qualified mechanic.

Immobiliser bypass

The motor can be replaced without touching the immobilizer system. There may be no problem with the immobilizer system as it only turns off power to the fuel pump or ignition spark.
better yet just re-seed the immobilizer ECM with the dealer

Immoboliser of city dont work

First of all you need to programm all ignition keys using suitable diagnostic equipment (VAS, VAG-Com) connected to the data link connector of the car.

You have an electronic immobilizer key recognition problem. Now your key chip is not recognized by the transponder antenna fitted on the ignition switch barrel.

  • Everytime when you had a new key you must programm all available ignition car keys before trying to start the engine with this new key !!!

  • You have an electronic immobilizer key recognition problem. Your key chip is not recognized by the transponder antenna fitted on the ignition switch barrel. Do you have this warning symbol lightning on the dashboard?

This warning lamp indicates that the engine is locked by the immobilizer system, and the engine start sequence must be repeat again.

From year 1995 in Audi-VW (VAG) cars is used engine immobilizer. The VAG group immobilizer system consists of an immobilizer ECU which controls the recognition of keys and the Engine Management ECU system. Immobilizer is activated when the ignition key is removed and, together with the engine control unit, largely prevents unauthorized starting of the engine. The system uses a transmitter and receiver unit in the ignition key (transponder). Whenever an attempt is made to start the engine, it transmits a new code to the car's electronics. The immobilizing is only cancelled and car motor electronic receives permission to start engine if the key sends a right authorization code.

Use another ignition key that you have, and start the engine.

You will need to programm all ignition keys using suitable diagnostic equipment (VAS, VAG-Com) connected to the data link connector of the car.
