Now-- you have an SRS System problem, as well as
oxygen sensor issue

Did you just buy someones problem child or just
drive until things happen ?

Your telling stories, but there is no question or
anything to answer there

Test results or a story with substance would be nice

SOURCE: where is the bank 1 sensor 1 o2 sensor located in

The bank has to do with which side of the engine. The 'Sensor 1' indicates that it is upstream of the catalytic converter.

What is a MAF sensor & where is located 2001 vw beetle GLS. Thanks

The MAF sensor is between the air filter and the throttle and measures the air flowing into the engine so that the correct amount of fuel can be added for combustion.

How to check is my Hyundai is CA emission or the other 49 states?

How many O2 sensors are the best way. On a 4 cylinder, you are good everywhere. On a 6 cylinder if you have 3 O2 sensors, it is federal, 4 O2 sensors is CA. It should also be marked on the under hood tag. Most don't say CA. But the do say Fed.

Yes it could be, change out your crank positioning sensor, sounds like your trans is not getting the signal from your ECM

Have a dealer service the airbag system as they have a shelf life and most likely that is causing it to trigger (alot like service lights on newer cars).

Need fil for error code P2626 Hyundai Elantra GLS

P2626 O2 Sensor Pumping Current Trim Circuit/Open (Bank 1 Sensor 1)

I'll sure this has to do with a faulty O2 sensor. This sensor is usually located around the header of your car, or down more on your exhaust.

Try disconnecting your battery for 30 mins, hook it back up, and start your car again. This will erase the error. See if it comes in again.

Hope this help (remember rated this post).

5 error cods on my 2002 Jetta GLS 1.8 Turbo Engine

P0420= Catalyst System Efficiency Below Threshold Bank 1
P0300=Random/Multiple Cylinder Misfire Detected
P0301=Cylinder 1 Misfire Detected
P0172=System Too Rich Bank 1
P2181=Cooling System Performance
you need to write these down,have someone clear the codes in the car,then go for short ride and recheck which if any code reappears.it's like domino's affect,one sensor can start a chain affect with the others.

2002 VW Beetle Temp gauge flashing, why?

i had this exact same problem on my 2002 New Beetle GLS 2.0L. i tried adjusting coolant/water ratios, i tried changing the thermostat, but finally i accepted the inevitable and had my water pump replaced. the 2.0L Beetles (i am assuming your car is a 2.0L, correct me if i am wrong) have a plastic impeller inside the water pump. these impellers are very prone to cracking and then disintegrating themselves (which was the case with mine). i had it replaced along with my timing belt (the water pump runs off the timing belt) and it only cost me around $400 dollars. i have driven my car almost 10,000 miles since then and have not had a problem with overheating. i hope this helps.
