Tire, Caliper and bracket, tie rod to spindle, lower strut bolts, remove brake caliper hose from bracket on strut, remove axle nut, Pull spindle away from strut, push axle out of hub, use pry bar and pop axle from Tranny. Make sure when you reinstall axle into tranny your careful not to rip tranny axle seal.Make sure it is fully seated also.

You should be fine, if there is a difference in connectors, at least you will have the ones off of your car that you can graft onto the new ones. The colors should be the same thou.

What size stocket fit the nut on the alxe on 1998 88 olds

36mm ---- I think--if not 35 or 34

You will need a 36" long or longer bar for that
or you will not get it off

I actually have a snap-on 3/4" ratchet head & 40''
bar, just for that

You can also use an impact gun,but I have seen
them not move the nut

On the install, your not going to have a torque wrench
that goes past 150 lbs. SO--you can not go to the max
there & you need at least 185 to 206

Just have to stop at 130 & go another 1/8 to 1/4 turn

1998 olds 88 headlights stay on

Could be a problem with the automatic system, maybe a relay, or the headlight switch.
You may need a book to trace the circuits.

Need a diagram for serpentine belt for a 1998 Olds 88

There should be a decal on the underside of the hood or on the fan shroud. If not, a local library should have a repair manual available. There are different configurations available on an Olds.
