It's on the fuse box/pad, a silver octagonal box about 3/4" x 1/2". That's the " Blinker".

Hi Tina, I'm AL the owner of Big As Auto Repair.

Tina, it sounds like it may have blown a main fuse OR fusible link somewhere. Unfortunately finding a wiring diagram for that old of car is next to impossible. The other thing that may have happened is something may have eaten some wires that can cause this to happen and is a very common problem with vehicles that sat for a while. Hope this helps and please send people to my auto-repair-website to check out all my satisfied customers here:

1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee turn signals do not work, the under the console fuse box doesn't seem to have a fuse for the turn signals. i do not have a user manual

Look under the bonnet, in the engine room. There should be black box. In that box you will find som relay's also. When you open the cower, on one side oranother you will see diagram fo the fuse block.

Wipers turn signals and ac/heater not comming on

looks like they are on more than one fuse. your passenger compartment fuse box is down below your dash panel on drivers side between brake pedal and left side kick panel. the heater a/c fuse is a 25 amp fuse, should be fuse 6. the wipers are fed through a 4.8 amp circuit breaker which might be in the same fuse box, or not. your car also has a power distribution center under the hood. if you don't get anywhere with the fuses in the passenger compartment, look in the power distribution center. chrysler doesn't always share lots of info and i can only look up part of the wiring diagram. can't find anything about turn signals, my guess is that fuse is in power distribution box. hope that helps

What causes both brake and flashers to stop working?

Many cars have the same fuse for turn signal and brake lights. Check that fuse for a start.

ok, the dash does not show the blinker is on, did you check the front and back to see if any of the turn signals were on, but not blinking? Also the side marker lights should light up if the turn signals aren't working, do they? Let me know. Next check the fuse box, it's on the driver side, under the dashboard. The fuses will be labeled, check the fuse for the turn signals.
Check to see if it"s blown. If it is, or you aren't sure, replace it with one of the same amperage (the # of amps is on the fuse). The fuses can just be pulled out to check them. If you still don't have working blinkers, go back to the fuse block under the dash. There are 2 round canister shaped units plugged into the fuse block. One of them is the turn signal flasher. They are about the diameter of a quarter, and a bit over an inch thick. If your emergency flashers are working, unplug one of the flashers. If they don't work after unplugging one, then you just unplugged the emergency flasher, so the other one is the turn signal flasher. Replace with a new one, identical to the old one. Let me know when you have followed all these instructions and what happens. countrycurt0
