Daewoo Lanos 2001 . Rpm drop when try to accelerate when push on gas pedal. Also rough engine running when try accelerate and push on gas pedal

inline or in tank fuel filter (replace).. fuel pump or injector worn out..
need tuneup (plugs) rough engine.. not firing on all cylindars.
exhaust clogged up can do same thing.. go have catalytic converter checked (they drill tiny hole and pressure test it) .. if bad replace.. replace muffler if need.. a bad converter will not allow whole system to breath and you lose power and get same exact symptoms. you can hook it up to a diagnostic machine at autozones for free.. they plug a computer into your car under dash and it runs all the CODES for things not running right.. codes stored in your cars computer for future repair needs.. when car runs bad like it is for you.. it generates codes for things to CHECK and look for to maybe replace. You will get all the things plus a few little sensors that are cheap and easy to replace too.. start with autozone and computer codes.. they will go in store and print little papers for you..then start on cheapest suggestions.. little sensors and slap some plugs into it.. you tube how to if you dont know and find step by step videos for your make model car.. you will have to go to a shop to get a new converter welded on and it is a little high priced.. but you HAVE to have it.. if its broken.. you have to replace it. Dont let people tell you to cut it out and just put straight pipe as it will affect other things running adversly and cause you more problems.. the cars are set up to run WITH them on. I have had this problem and it was my converter.. but it needed new plugs and I gave it a sensor by the fuel injector.. it runs excellent now.. good luck! I dont know where you are.. but if there is a garage that can run the codes for you ... thats where to start.

Could be a vast number of things, I would suggest taking it to a shop or getting a manual like Haynes or Chilton and trying the troubleshooting yourself if you are confident enough.

Ruff idle when first taking off runs bad but once rpms getup there it runs great runs good on the highway check engine light is on

it could actually be a few things. i would start getting by the car scanned, maybe at your local autozone or something alike. thats if you would like to fix it yourself. or if you want to try things out on your own, then start by checking the spark plugs. if they look good then might want to try seeing if you hear the sound the air being sucked under the hood(that could be a vaccum leak), by listening to the engine up close while its running. if you find nothing then the trip to auto zone would be a good idea for the scan, which is free

2002 honda accord car not starting or running rough when

Engine needs two things spark and fuel to run. both will cause problem your having. easiest thing to try is starting fluid spray into air intake to motor by opening air filter box. someone spray and someone start or run car - if performace changes possibly the fuel pump is going bad. If nothing improves you can look for spark problems which can be plugs or wires or ignition module(s)

1999 Nissan Altima problem... Today my car had a strange scent. Possibly rubber burning. The next thing my car started sputtering and cutting out. When I pulled off the road, It would not start but seemed...

This could be any number of things, check all of your belts and make sure they are there. Do a visual inspection of the wires under the hood and make sure none look burned. The last thing to check would be the timing belt on the car under the cover behind the rest of the belts. If this has stripped the car could have jumped time and will not let the car run and could cause more damage the more you try to run it.

Car starts but won't stay running

Could be many things. Try changing the fuel filter and look for any disconnected or cracked vacuum lines. Another problem could be you have a clogged fuel injector or bad gasoline. Try adding some fuel injector cleaner and octane boost to the gas. It's always best to rule out the cheapest things first.

Runs rough and dies at low rpms

This can be a number of things but you can try process of elimination.

It could be:
1. Bad spark plugs, wires or rotor
2. Fuel pump ,not getting enough fuel, check and replace fuel filter
3. Not getting enough air, check filter or clog
4. Try getting a fuel injection cleaning.

Without seeing it or hands on it could be a number of things.

try checking those to start to narrow it down. And it always could be something else as well such as timing etc..
