My back seat passenger power window on my Pontiac 2000 Sunfire will only close half way .how do I fix this ?
The gear, that is attached to the actuator that moves that window up and down, may be stripped out or the actuator may be getting jammed at a certain point. The only way to really know for sure is to pull the inside door cover off and watch the actuator when you make the window go up and down. DO NOT PUT YOUR FINGERS NEAR THE ACTUATOR WHILE IT IS MOVING. Just take your time and you will be able to figure it out.

Probably not related to the accident. The motors are prone to wearing out and overheating. You should be able to get a new motor for about $50. It requires removing the door panel and drilling out 4 rivets, then removing the motor and replacing it. Harder than it sounds...but not impossible for the do-it-yourselfer. The way those motors work, the difference between up and down is not the wiring, it is the polarity on the two wires...which is controlled by the switch. A bad switch can also cause it to not go one way. The switch costs more than the motor. Your local auto parts store may be able to test the switch and motor for you. You can also use a voltmeter on the motor connection and should see a polarity change in up/down.

two clips hold the headlight in place at the top...remove these and the headlamp will move forward enabling you to replace the halogen bulb (9007 at CTC)
