Your bulb could be bad. With gloves or a plastic bag covering your fingers, remove and switch bulbs to see if problem moves and follows the bulb. If problem is still on Drivers side, I believe these high energy systems used 2 headlight relays, one for each side. Could be you changed the wrong relay(you did not say if you replaced a bulb or relay).
The consensus seems to be that usually the problem is with the ballast. The general diagnostic routine is 1. Check the fuses. There is actually one fuse for each side. 2. Check the bulb by switching sides with them. 3. Check the ballast by switching sides with them. 4. If you've gotten this far, you're probably unlucky enough that your problem is in the wiring harness.
