Dear Sir/madam,
Valve clearance adjustment must be performed to manufacturer'sspecifications. It is normal that the exhaust valve will have a largerclearance. Adjustment is performed by either adjusting the rocker armor placing shims between cam follower and valve stem. Most modernengines have hydraulic lifters and require only infrequent adjustment.
Valve clearance measurementValve clearance is measured with the valve closed, typically at top dead center between the compression and power strokes. The tappet will be resting on the heel of the cam lobe. A feeler gaugemust pass through the clearance space. The feeler gauge should fit inand out with a slight drag. If the feeler gauge will not fit in, thenthe clearance is too small. If the blade of the feeler gauge fits intoo loosely, the clearance is too large.
AS PER TECHNICAL MANUAL IT IS AS FOLLOW:-
VALAVE CLEARACNCE:- ( HOT)
(CB MODEL )
INTAKE.....00.20mm or 0.0078 inch
EXHAUST..00.20mm or 0.0078 inch
(CL MODEL)
INTAKE......0.25mm or 0.0098 inch
EXHAUST...0.30mm or 0.0118 inch
thanks
good luck
