97 nissan 200sx 2.0, starts but stalls when I shift to forward. Also when in park and reeve the engine up it misses badly. Took distributor cap off and there was oil inside. Other times I can start it reeve it up then stalls when I put it in forward

pull one of the plugs out leave the plug wire on it and rest it on something metal on the car and have someone try to turn it over.if no spark can be seen try changing your crankshaft sensor

most likely your brake switch is out. If you had a scanner you would be able to see if the computer see's you pressing on the pedal. Or if you know how to test you could check to see if it switches ( completes the circuit ).

is there any engine warning lights coming on if not when was the last full tune-up, plugs wires all filter's , if not or don't know ty that.
