Must provide year, still, when u buy the joint it must be provided with instructions, may have more than tension,is the order of tidining,u can have degrees and sequvence like wait 10 minutes between steps, run 1/2 hour before last step ,replace head bolts everytime u replace head joint etc...
ex:ford sierra 1.3
1983-1987
Torx type bolts
use new bolts,oiled
steps:
1.35-40nm
2.70-75nm
3.let it rest at least 5 minutes
4.Final 90?
Star type bolts can reuse
steps:
1.40-55nm
2.50-70nm
3.rest it at least 20 minutes
4.Final 73-83nm
dnt forget good practice clean, verify head straight...etc
best regards

these specs straight from service info
single cam
25Nm + 70deg+ 70deg+ 30deg
twin cam
25Nm+70deg+70deg+ 30deg
alot of after market gasket sets are the 25Nm and 3 lots of 60deg and the extra 10deg bolts are meant to be replaced (use once only) alot of bolts tend to start stretching when doing last 10 deg use oil on threads and washers under bolts 25 and 3 lots of 60deg is correct and more commonly used.

SOURCE: Can't find the torque head bolt pattern for a 1996 gmc sierra 5.7 vortex
The "pattern" for ANY cylinder head is pretty much the same...start with the bolts in the center of the head and work your way out to both ends.
Torquing the cylinder head on your 5.7L Vortec engine to manufacturer specifications requires the use of a "torque angle" gauge, as well as a traditional torque meter.
The torque specifications are as follows:
> Step 1: All bolts: 22 Ft Lbs (30 Nm.)
> Step 2: Short bolts: Additional 55 degrees; Medium bolts: Additional 65 degrees; Long bolts: Additional 75 degrees
