SOURCE: PCV Valve on 05 Dodge Grand Caravan
3.3 and 3.8 engine pcv valves are it the rear head valve cover. they are a pain to remove
SOURCE: PCV Valve
PCV.....stands for Positive Crankcase Ventilation it will be located on the top of you valve cover either right or left.....to recognize it there will be a hose connected to the top of the PCV. If you want to check to see if you need to replace it pull the hose off pull the PCV out of the valve cover shake it it should rattle if it doesnt that means the valve is stuck either shut or open you can either clean the valve with solvent or you can replace it I suggest replace they are not expensive

It's on the side of the Oil filler container.

I just replaced mine and had the same problem. If you look at the new one, you should find a small hole at the base of the metal tube. Using a mirror, I located the same hole in the one in the valve cover and inserted a pointed awl into it and was able to pry it out. Do it slowly since you are prying against plastic. When inserting the new one, I found that it should not be inserted as far the original one was and has a gentle snap.
