SOURCE: keep blowing fuse for rear taillights and dashboard lights
Sounds like loose wires. Had a similar problem with my 03 Durango. Kept blowing fuses when I put them in. Came to find out my trailer wiring harness had fried and was shorting out.
SOURCE: taillight fuse keeps blowing, replace bulbs,
check to see if anybody has put a aftermarket plug on the left rear corner of the under the bed for trailer light, they short out and cause fuses to blow also make sure the wiring is not rubbing on the frame and cutting the insulation
SOURCE: taillights and license plate lights not working
there is a short somewhere.put a test light in place of the fuse.
the light will glow bright.when the short is removed, the light will go dim

I had this problem, and to be honest, it happened to the left side about a week later...it's the board that the bulbs plug into...it's a very common problem with this model. So popular that you can normally get the socket board off the shelf at a parts store! it's extremely simple to replace, and I replaced all the bulbs at the same time!

My 04 tahoe had to have the a/c door actuator replaced as well, same problem. 100.00 part from dealer if you want to do it yourself.
