High beams won't shut off
SOURCE: 2003 Ford mustang High beam switch
The dome lights are not related, but the high beam problem is the steering column mounted multifunction switch, very common problem, they should recall them.

First place to start is with headlight switch. I did have a case many years ago when both high beams were blown out at once, but this is rare. When you have the headlight switch out, jump power from te low beams to the high beam contacts. If high beams come on, replace switch.

Take a look at this link regarding DRL system. I know it's not exact truck but most of it would apply to yours too. It should give you hints on what to test & how.

replace driver module relay .it controls the low beam lights.

the lenses are most likely clouded over? yellowed? sometimes you can buy a kit to polish them, but I would recommend replacement, polish doesnt last long, and you will need to replace them anyhow. the DRL lights are operating normally
