hi. 155 horsepower1968 250 CID I6 Engine
This engine was capable of producing 155 horsepower at 4,200 rpm and a torque of 235 pound-feet at 1,600 rpm. It came standard with a three-speed manual transmission, while Powerglide and the Hydra-matic transmissions were available as optional upgrades.

It is probably a 292 ci if you look on the right front of the engine there is a steel stamp put on that shows the date and the suffix of the engine build. It is just behind the water pump. Hope this helps.
I just found my sticker on line last night for my 75 GMC. Go to : www.gspp.com Thats Golden State Parts and they have pic's of all the decals they sale and you can get all the info you need. By the way your 250 inline 6 was used in the 75 truck also 2 bll barb, so that sticker will work for you. It has complete instructions for tune up and spec's.
