Fuse blows every time I turn switch on for lights, thought it was wiring to goose neck plug in .

I KNOW YOU HAVE AN ELECTRICAL SHORT.WAS AN ALARM INSTALLED OR ANY OTHER TYPE OF ACCESSORY? CHECK WITH DODGE TO FIND OUT ABOUT A RECALL.IF SOMETHING WAS INSTALLED, TAKE IT BACK THERE TO STRAIGHTEN IT OUT IF NOT HAVE A AUTO TECHNICIAN CHECK IT FOR YOU.
SOURCE: Tail lights and dash lights not working, keep blowing fuse.
you have a wire or a light socket grounding out ck were your lights go into the sockets has the car been wrecked any were near the lights if it has thats were you start if not start with your light sockets
SOURCE: Blows fuses when parking lights are turned on. Headlights work fine even running lights.
If it only happens when you turn the switchto the parking lights then it is most likely the swich that is the problem. Light swich failure appears to be a common fault with fords

Are the bulbs out of the sockets and the fuse blows?
Take bulbs out and check again
Place one back at a time if fuse was OK with bulbs out to locate bad bulb.
Otherwise.......
Do this........if still needed with bulbs out and fuse blowing.
Put a circuit breaker in to replace the fuse of the same amperage.
It will trip off then back on.
Use a standard cheap magnetic compass........place along lighting wiring........the wire with current will cause the needle to jump as circuit breaker trips on and off.
Follow path of current to problem.....the compass will stop moving once past the shorted /grounded wire/connection.
SOURCE: Brake light switch fuse keeps blowing
Hi .. First I would remove the lamps, and try the brakes, then try again with the wiring harness disconnected from the housing, to see if you can isolate the problem to the lamps, the housing, or the wiring. If it is the wiring , then you will have to trace the harness back toward the front of the car looking for any place where the insulation on the wire has been damaged .

thanks SriPhi i did try a bigger fuse called for 15 amp i tried a 20 and 25 amp and blew both..checked for broken wires and none broken..do you think it could be switch..
Could be. But if I translate your question correctly, things worked fine until the trailer light plug was wired into the system. It may be grounded out at the sockets as others have suggested. Or you might try a 30 amp. But if it blows there is a dead short. If you live where they use the "slurpy" de-icer then your sockets and wiring are probably shot. That stuff plays hell iwth lights. Ask any long haul trucker.
good call SRIPHI,it was a broken wire at the pig tail on turn signal..
