I just had the oil changed one week ago. I just got an oil can with a wrecnh on my isuzu ascender. Is that like the other question I saw on here and means the oil needs to be changed? Even though I just changed it?
You got it, that little light tells you a service is due on your auto. You probably were proactive and did the oil change early and now the mileage has tripped the light telling you a service is due. There may be other things that should be checked at this mileage besides the oil and your maintenance schedule in the owners manual should confirm this. Normally the dealer would complete the maintenacne items for this mileage and reset the light as part of the servcice.
The oil change light system needs to be reset, check the owners manual on how to reset the oil change light.... -
SOURCE: Isuzu Ascender Fuel Filter
The fuel filter is located with the fuel pump inside the gas tank
SOURCE: Engine light is on.
Your vehicle’s computer system has self-testing capability. When the computer senses that there is a problem with some of the components it stores the correspondent trouble code(s) in its memory and lights up the Check Engine or Service Engine Soon lights to tell you that there is a problem and you should have the car diagnosed and repaired. Not fluid related, but could be a small problem that's easy to fix now. Even a loose gas cap can turn the light on. Have a code scan, that's the starting point.

It could be a bad oil sending sensor, or the oil pump. When it drops, does the gauge stay on zero or fluctuates. The sending sensor isn't to bad to replace or cost wise, but pump is a different story. Have someone check the sending unit or just have it replaced to see if that's the problem.

Could be an axle seal on the trans. Could also be power steering fluid from a worn hose.
