My 2004 lincoln ls makes a rattling noise for a few seconds everytime it changes gear up to about 50 mph. I'm not sure what to do

a rattling sound to some may sound different to others but sounds like timing ping to me
try a higher grade of gasoline and if it stops have the timing on the engine checked
