Serpintine belt replacement

Most likely one of the things that the belt drives is frozen. Check that your water pump, power steering pump, alternator, etc all turn without the belt.

look around the wiring and sensors when belt broke some debris may have damaged or disconnected the circuit

On belt tensioner pulley fit a wrench on the bolt that holds pulley, turn clockwise to release tension, hold and remove belt.

If the belt keeps slipping off the you need to replace the tensioner(its the pulley you have to move to get the belt on and off,and that part should be inexpensive to replace from any parts store.

You shouldn't need to most of the time all you need is a 15mm wrench. Use it by turning the spring tightener inward toward the center of the motor than the belt should come off. Also when you take it off make sure you know how the belt goes around the pulleys so everything will work together like normal. when putting the belt on you should use the wrench to turn the tightener back inward and slip the belt back on and make sure it looks just like the old one when its on.
