How do you get the dash brake light off after the brake job is done on a 04 buick lasabre

That sounds like the new battery is flat. Put the headlights on, stand in front of the vehicle and get someone to try and start the vehicle. What happens to the headlights.

Or

Did you replace the battery yourself? Is the anti-theft light on steady.

Dash units where a recall on most buick lasabre's.
I just replace one on a 2004.
My guess is to go to a savage yard an get a use one.
They sell for about $25 bucks.
They are very easy to change

Put some brake fluid in the brake reserve under the hood

If you did the brakes correctly then the brake light should have gone off when you restarted the car.
Exactly what brake work did you do? A simple pad change or did you have to open the system up for the fluid?

It can be loose wiring or issue with bulb or the battery is weak or brake light socket getting short somewhere.Car lights getting dim,there are many such common issues noticed.I will share some familiar help links,related to your problem.

Hello,
You need to -

1. Open the trunk and look where the speakers are located.
2. There is a plate in the middle held in place with two screws.
3. Remover the screws
4. Remove the plate and you will now have access to the bulb.
5. Twist the bulb connector to the left and pull the bulb assembly out.
6. Now the bulb pulls strait out.
7. Install new bulb.
8. Reverse steps to finish job.

look behind dash panel under steering wheel,mounted to dash brace. if 4-ways work,flasher will 'click'.

check relay under hood of car,sounds like the relay is not working, easy fix

it has disc brakes front and rear.

Under the passenger side dash behind the and to the left of the blower motor. Not a fun part to remove but it can be done.
