Before you start, roll down the window, take off the inside door handle (Phillips screws) gently pry it out, and any other switches, (watching the wiring) Disconnect the wire connectors. Starting at the bottom, look for any screws holding on the door panel. (none usually) Plastic clips behind the panel hold it to the door. Pop the panel off gently using a flat screwdriver (or if you can get a hold of the right tool) Pop the panel off 1 plastic clip at a time. When all the clips & screws are out, shimmy the handle through the opening on the panel & lift it off the side of the car. Wallah!

These are bad about those Cable operated window devices .. If it is bad get on ebay and get one ordered its your best bet.. Just take a flat screwdriver and go around the bottom of the door panel and pop it loose and up the sides .. there might be a hidden screw or two in the middle around the handles.. good luck ..

You'll need to remove screws that are by the door handle, arm rest, under door and side of door and then gently pull back on the panel as there will also be retaining clips attached and you don't want to break them. You'll need to lift the door panel upwards in order to get it off the window ledge. If needed, you can pull back the weather seal (can't reuse it, but it's not that important) and you will be able to access everything inside the door

On the inside trim, you can remove screws that are by the door handle, arm rest, under door and side of door and then gently pull back on the panel as there will also be retaining clips attached and you don't want to break them. You'll need to lift the door panel upwards in order to get it off the window ledge. Then you'll need to manipulate the panel and disconnect the door handle linkage from the door handle and disconnect the wiring for your controls.

I have info on a 96 power door glass.....should be very simular. the triangle piece at the top front is just clipped on, the plastic piece around the opener handle is just clipped on. in the pull handle there are two screws, and the plastic piece just pops up. under the red reflector the is a screw. There is a "U" clip behind your window crank, remove this clip and the crank will pull straight out. (use a screw driver to open the gap between the crank and the door panel, to see the clip, Use a hook tool too remove the clip...you can also use a cloth or panty-hose in the gap and turn the crank, the cloth will grab the edge of the clip and pop it off)
after removing all the clips and screws the door panel is held on with plastic plugs, just pull the panel sraight out toward youself.
hope this helps.
