The door is most likely stuck, something caught in it or pushing against it. Make sure there is nothing pushing against the door and then push it really hard to make sure it re latches. I had to do this about 3 times before my door released. I had part of a blanket in the latch. Then try opening door. If that doesn't work ask at any dealer ship for help.

Check battery voltage. if above 13.7 volts move to rear lock actuator and measure battery voltage at actuator if above 13.6
replace actuator if below specs. check grounds and alternator out put as follows, alternator output 13.7 to 14.25 volts. key off battery volts should be 12.90 + - 3/10 of a volt and about the same voltage at the actuator. let me know. kindest regards Bill

SOURCE: 2005 gmc yukon back passenger doors will not

My wife's 2003 Yukon wouldn't lock the rear doors or hatch, but it would unlock. My problem was the lock relay was bad. There are two relays, one for lock and one for unlock. They are located in the fuse panel on the left side of the console. Open the drivers door and you will see a cover that pops off. Behind this are several fuses and relays. Consult your manual to see which is the lock and unlock relays. They are side by side on a 2003. They pull straight out. I replaced both and they were around $10 apiece at any auto store.

Could be the latch mechanism for the door is sticking. You could try using some white grease on the latch and the contact where the latch hooks to. You can purchase the grease from most auto parts stores. You will not need to use alot. Just apply a small amount to the mechanisim and then work it in using the manual handle. Then open and close the door several times to feel the "action". Then apply a little more and repeat. This should loosen the latch and get it working again. Also make sure that none of the tension springs have come loose on the latch. And check the seal around the door and make sure it is not pinched and has a proper fit.

I locked my 2003 GMC envoy but key won't open doors my passenger door slightly able to open it s there a way to pop lock

Will they open with your remote? If not, there is probably a problem with the doors locking/unlocking system. If you can get the rear hatch open, best bet is to crawl in from there and unlock a door manually. At that point you can check if any of the door switches are working. Otherwise, best bet is to use a locksmith to get into the truck.

HOW TO OPEN LIFT GATE OF 2005 YUKON XL. I ASSUME THAT THE RELAY UNDER THE HOOD IS GOOD, SINCE ALL OTHER FOUR DOORS WORK. (LOCK-UNLOCK). I THINK THAT IT MIGHT BE A SOLEONID IN THE LIFT GATE ITSELF. NO KEY...

have you had someone try the unlock while you listen at the hatch to see if you hear the solenoid working?
My guess is your going to have to remove the rear hatch panel to gain access
