If you turn the ignition on (but not start) and see the S3 green light come on then it will start every time.
If you turn the ignition on (but not start) and you don't see the S3 green light then it will not start. It will turn over but not start.
What makes this S3 light come on (or not on) and then the car won't start???

properly connect a timing light aim it at the marks on the flywheel or crank pulley disable timing advance and turn the distributer until the timing mark lines up with the zero mark

When a car has a distributor, loosen the clamp under the distributor and turn the distributor clockwise/counter-clockwise to ge the appropriate timing. There is usually 1 bolt holding the clamp tight against the distributor. Determine which direction you need to turn with the timing light as your guide. As alway's, be careful of the moving parts!!
