It sounds like a bad power or ground connection. My guess it is the ground.

What is the name/model number of the radio? It has a tilt control for the screen on the Remote and usually on the Radio itself or in the Settings

There could be a main fuse on the radio itself or the power plug could have unplugged itself from the back.

Is it an aftermarket radio??? Normally they have a 5A fuse on the back of the unit itself, or in line of the radio's power wire.

Betting that you've got a wiring issue on the back of the radio. Pull the stereo & check your connections. Somewhere the speaker wires came loose.

If the wrong code was entered too many times the system locks itself out and you must wait approximately 30 minutes before you attempt to input the code. It is important that in this time that the radio is on, and that you don't attempt to enter the code. If this doesn't work I would verify that you actually have the correct code. The code is not written anywhere on the radio as it comes from the factory, however there is a serial number on the back of the radio that allows the dealership to retrieve it easily.

I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM ..... ONE OF THE SPEAKERS WAS MAKING SOME KIND OF SHORT CIRCUIT. ITS USUALLY THE BACK SPEAKERS BECAUSE THE WIRES ARE NOT WRAPPED!!

The relay is over heating and internally shorting out.
Replace the relay.

I have a strong feeling that the head unit "radio" has finally gone bad. You describe a situation, in which you have to turn it on and off, to get it to work. Typically if the sound comes out of all speakers, after doing that, then the speakers were never broken. The head unit itself should be replaced. I hope this helps.
