SOURCE: No turn signals or emergency blinkers

I had the same problem twice before. Solved it the same way both times. In my case it was the Hazard switch at the top of the steering column. It was stuck. I knew it was that because the signal lights had been functioning perfectly until I parked my car alongside the road with the hazard lights on to do some nighttime fishing and sip a little white lightnin'. (just kiddin' about the white lightnin')

When I got back in my car to go, I turned off the hazard lights but I had no turn signal lights! So I kept pushing that hazard button up and down for about 30 times with my left turn signal arm down until it started working again. So after having this happen to me twice, I learned a valuable lesson: Don't ever use hazard signals in this car.

Sounds like a multifunction switch, work the emergency flasher button up and down a few times, then attempt to work the turn signals if the signals work then you will need a multifunction switch.

2006 Dodge Durango. Need help locating the blinker relay on it!?

Question edited for clarity.
Question moved to model category.

There isn't one. Turn signals are a feature of the ECM/BCM and are done electronically. The problem is likely to be the switch.

Oct 30, 2011 - So I understand the 2nd Gen Durango doesn't use a classic flasher relay for the turn signals; everything runs of the FCM.

that vehicle has a desperate relay for the hazards which is why they work, you have a defective signal flasher sometimes called a signal relay, follow the noise to locate exactly where the part is, usually under driver side of dash, it is a very cheap part and easy to install.

I have a 2000 dodge neon the blinker on the drivers side is not working and its makes a buzzing noise.

this sounds like the flasher unit is no good and needs to be changed.it is located in the fuse panel under the dash on the drivers side.if you turn on the hazards and check all the bulbs for working,if they are working then you can look under the dash with the hazards on to find the flasher and this will show you what the signal flasher looks like at the fuse panel as they are two different units.

Blinker on 1998 dodge Dakota don't work but flashers do replaced blinker switch

Most likely this is the result of a faulty turn signal flasher relay. This is located in the fuse box at the end of the dash. Also, be sure and test all your fuses with a test light or volt meter.

Two possibilities. Water could be splashing up from the road and getting in where it shouldn't and shorting something, blowing the fuse. Or you could have a short in the wiring to the headlamps that is blowing the fuse.

The blinker in my 99 dodge durango works sometimes. whats wrong with it?

Hello
More than likely the combination flasher relay is defective. You will need to replace the electronic combination flasher relay, the Combination flasher which is just to the left of the steering column under the dash.

Flashers out, module, relay

More than likely to be a flasher relay. If you can locate the relay turn the harzards on and tap the relay with the ennd of a screewdriver. If the hazards start to work for a moment when being hit you know its the relay. If it was a module i would of thourght you would have more electrical problems as modern cars are mutiplexed meaning one module controls lots of different things. hope this helps.
