Where is the check plug on a 02 sunfire tranny?

how to check level engine running remove plug and fill at port until you see fluid out of atf level check plug .then replace plug and it is done

It will probably be easier to take it to a regular repair shop to have it checked. There is a small bolt that comes out to verify fluid level after it's warmed up and still running. It's too hard to describe where the level plug is located and it can be dangerous to check & fill without experience.

How do you check the transmission fluid in a 1998 pontiac sunfire?auto

The 4 speed auto. has a check plug under the car start the car remove the plug if fluid pours out your good if it doesn't pour fluid in untill it starts to pour out and then re insert the plug. (fluid goes in the top of the tranny through the fill hole) hope this helps.

I know very little about cars but I own a 2000

under your battery tray, you will see a big red knob, remove the knob using a funnel add tranny fluid until you can physically see it in the tranny
check with engine running!!!!

Where is the sunfire 2003 transmission dipstick located

Pontiac designed a "sealed system" and they think that if there's not a leak, then there's no need to check the fluid level.
There is however a plug on the side of the tranny pan...jack the car up to check level there.

Transmission draing plug on 5spd 2002 sunfire 2.2L

check on the passenger side. you will have to remove the front wheel & fender wall. it should be on the side of the tranny.
