Problem for Chevrolet Cars

I have just purchased a 2001 chevy blazer. The dome lights are staying on all the time with the dome light switch in the auto position. I have discovered that there is no wire going to the passenger front door switch. Should there be, or is this a factory design for the vehicle?

on your interior light switch (dimmer switch) just get in the vehicle close doors and turn the dimmer switch and that should do it

- yes, there should be a wire attached to the door sensor, two wire to a little black plug, sry about earlier post
