SOURCE: gmc sierra turn flasher location
The flasher on this vehicle looks nothing like the flasher's of yesteryear. It will be located behind the drivers side knee bolster(under the steering wheel). It will be a small black box that is about 3 inches wide, 2 inches deep, and 1 inch thick. It may be somewhat difficult to locate because on some of the GM trucks they actually hide it behind the guage cluster bezel but to the left of the guages. Let me know if I can help you any further.

It is in the fuse panel. Open your front car door and you will see a panel on the outside edge of your dashboard (hidden when the door is closed). That is where the fuses are and it is the big square fuse in the center.

It is located on the Fuse Panel Under the Dash on the Drivers Side. It is Right at the Top of the Fuse Panel. Should be the Large Round one. Some of them were Square Though.

The flasher element is under the dash it's either to the right or the left of the steering column. Turn on the t/s and listen for the clicking noise.
This car has 2 of them 1 for thr hazzard flasher and one for the t/s make sure you chnage the right one. They look exactly the same except for they have a colored paint band around the outside of them Like one is yellow and one is blue.
The replacement one you bought more than likley will not have that but make sure the # stamped on the end of it is the same as the one you are changing. The 2 of them are mounted on the same piece of metal under the dash so that makes it confusing as well.
Good luck and hope this helps
