My dodge caravan started this morning went to gas station; then when I went to leave gas station caravan did not start no power nothing came on. 10 min later turn key started right up. Advanced auto parts checked battery; that was good then alternator good but they said my revulator inside alternator was rippling. It is running fine but why would that happen. Ingnition problem?

When trying to turn my truck on only clicking noise under hood and in dash. Sometimes even after key is pulled out clicking noise in dash continues for a couple of seconds. Battery and alternator was check at Advanced Auto parts they say both are good

my 2006 pt cruiser won"t start. the light do come on but it will not turn over just a clicking sound. i drove it for about an hour then went back to it 30 mins later and it didn"t start. just clicking sound.

Start by checking the battery connections. If they seem okay then, even though it may be pretty new, I would take the battery to the dealer and have them check it for an internal short in the battery. I had this happen 2 weeks after picking up a new car.

could be the battery, sometimes all the electrical would stay on but the battery doesnt have enough juice to crank the car over, if not check the alternater.

had a similar problem with with my 4runner.replaced most of the fuel and ignition systems with no luck.finally traced the problem to a bad connection between the main relay and the fuel pump.there's a wire harness connection between the back of the gas tank and rear axle.I just replaced it with a solid run from the fuel pump and the relay.haven't had any problems since.
