SOURCE: alarm problem on 97 acura tl - now car wont start

try turning the key on then taking the +side off then turn key off and reconect+

the easiest way might be to use a set of jump start leads & connect them to the new battery, then to the battery leads of the old battery before you disconnect them from the old battery,then remove the old battery & fit the new one being careful not to dislodge the jump leads then put the battery leads on the new battery.....hope this helps......cheers.

98 a6 alarm system keeps going off in middle of night, i have disconnected horn in boot for system but lights are still flashing. what is the easiesrt way to disconnect them from the alarm system

There will be water in the door microswitches, for the central locking.

This caused the alarms to activate when locked.

remove door panels on both front doors, you will see a little electrical switch near the door lock. remove and check for water ingress.
