When parts in the front end get worn out your adjustments in the front end change from there original settings giving you steering problems and changing steering wheel position. If you want it straight the correct way to do it is Get the front end checked out. Any worn parts should be replaced then have alignment done. While doing alignment there last step should be to center the steering wheel.

your power steering pump should have a adjusting pinion nut.you loosen the pinion nut to loosen pump so you can replace belt.or you have a automatic belt tensionener you rotate tensioner clockwise to replace or remove belt.
