SOURCE: Driver side power window stops working in 2003 mits. eclipse
i had same problem in the drivers side boot between door and body move boot to one side and then the other to expose wires see if any are broken or frayed i actual cut the boot the long way on one side and removed it then cut tape to expose all the wires. at first when this happened to me my drivers side window was intermiten than it would not go up or down by itself until i jumped the window motor from the battery i found 2 to 3 wires broken. repair wires with wire crimp connectors or loosen wire harness from plastic tie straps to give xtra room and twist together and wrap with elect tape put boot back and wrap with eletrical tape

If it does not make any noise, or sound like its getting any power, most likely its the switch.

If you can remove the window, the regulator, and motor. You can buy the regulator for $160-190 and the motor for $100 (could be less with core exchange). I just replaced my motor. The regulator is very difficult to install on new motor. Try to get the whole assembly already put together.

I have the same issue, but mine got a little worse as time went on. I got a new motor for and when I took the door apart I had to lower the window. so I had to plug the switches back in, and what do you know it started working. so I tested for 15 mins stiaght and it statred working every time I pushed the button. So, I would try that first before you spend over $70 dollars just for the part.
