I'm sorry, but I'm not able to find the specific torque settings for the crankshaft main and big end bolts for the E2200 R2 engine without more information, such as the year of the engine or the vehicle it's installed in. The torque settings can vary depending on the specific engine and vehicle model.
I would recommend referring to the engine's service manual or contacting a certified mechanic for the specific torque settings for your engine to ensure proper installation and prevent damage.
quick question for you. are you trying to identify size of motor or are you looking for a casting i.d. number ? 2002 sante fe came out with two (2) size motor option 1) is 4 cylinder 2.4 ltr engine ..
2) is a six(6) cylinder 2.7 ltr engine. identify stock engine size thru 5th character of vin number located on driverside door jam, or on dashboard. if its a "B" its a 2.4 if its a "D" its a 2.7 v-6
indicates that the starter is suffering heat stress for proximity to an exhaust system
That stress can be from a failing starter motor or it needs a high torque starter to over come the heat problems ( a problem suffered by many ford falcon XD models )
pull the starter and have it bench tested / overhauled by an accredited auto electrician, check for recalls or service bulletins that suggest a heat shield be installed or ask for a higher torque motor that will overcome the problem
i am curious... what year is this van... and what diesel engine does it have. i am a professional diesel mechanic that specializes on ford engines and i never herd of an R2 engine. it has got to be a 6.2l, 7.3l or 6.0l engine... at any rate none of these engines have a timing belt... unless you have some kind of import model that i am not familiar with. if that is the case them i will try to find out all the info i can.
