What are you replacing. Most bolts are reusable even if VW says they aren't.

What are the head bolt tightening specs for a 2000 range rover with a 4 ltr v8

Remember the head bolts are not reusable. They are stretched, not torqued. I can't post illustrations here but the pattern can be found at LR’s service website, (you can register for free). The bolts are tightened to a light torque of 15 foot pounds, then turned through two angles of 90 degrees each.

2000 VW Beetle: Need info on replacing front bumper cover. How to explanation

to take off the front bumper the fenders must come off as well. they are attached to each other and then bolted to the car. From what i remember there were like 90 screws to take off. so basically remove the headlight and the turn signals. then remove about 90 torx screws and pull the hole thing off. thene remove the fenders from the bumper, put them on your new bumper and mount them in reverse order!

The bolts next to the trans require you to bend your allen wrench to reach them. Espically when you install the new one. Other than that it is easy.

Head Lights

The fuse is not the problem... it is likely a poor spade electrical connector by the back of the head lights, and a poor chassey ground near the head lights, also by the starter and the transmission. Be sure ALL the chassey grounds are wire brushed and cleaned... remove the bolts holding on the ground straps, wire brush then replace.

Dash board light off

Look for a bad ground to the chassey, likely by the battery, starter or transmission. Clean the ground straps by removing the bolts to the body, then wire brush the area before reconnecting. Spray with WD-40 to inhibit future rust. Also, check voltage by the alternator to see if it is 14 volts DC when running. It should be around that by the battery as well. The on board computers and electronics are very sensitive to low voltage, flagging lots of problems when the alternator is failing, or battery is old or failing and lastly if the chassey isn't grounded well.
