Question about 2001 Volkswagen Beetle
I had a similar problem with mine. There is a relay out front under the battery. If your ac and cooling fans both quit working it could be that relay like mine. It has two wiring harnesses going into it. to get to it you have to remove the battery. There are two bolts holding it in place. I found my relay on Ebay for 45 bucks. I was told they are triple that at the dealership.

Talking about the ac? if so does the ac compressor come on? if not try ading freon if the ac compressor is on and lines get cold/and enough freon is in the ac system,,look for blown fuse or relay thats bad
