97 jetta leaks water from bottom of dash on pass side

My 97 Jetta GL leaks water from the bottom of the dash on pass side when I use the AC. When I turn a corner you can hear the water slosh around and see it pour out onto the floor. So I took the covering off and it looks like my blower moter is leaking from a seam. Any qiuck and cheap solutions or ideas what coukd be the root cause?

Out side undr hood on the fire wall most likely pass side you will see a nipple probaly plastic sticking out by its self that is the drain for the hvac box you can use a metal coat hanger and clean it out if it is that clogged water should pour out as soon as it is unclogged. if you have a air compressor shotting air in it also works.

I think my sunroof leaks. The driver side floor is soaked. The headlights ding when you turn them on. Also bells ding when you drive it. Could I have an issue with the comfort control module?

Make sure the sunroof water drains are clear, they are at the corners of the open sunroof in the body structure, the roof is not designed water tight, it depends on the water drains to keep from leaking

Where is the thermostat on a 1993 jetta 2.slow?

Hello. The thermostat is located on the pass side of the engine down below right next to the lower rad hose. If you have a/c you will have to move the pump away. I just changed mine in my 1993 Jetta the other day. Good luck!

1995 vw jetta gl air conditioner fuse 2.0 l

You may not be full of refrigerant... There is a low pressure switch that prevents the AC from actuating the clutch, and the reason is: IF there is not enough refrigerant, you will not be able to move oil through the system and you will have major damage...so no engauge...

Get the system checked, most likely there is a leak somewhere..

There are spring clips on the right and left side. Squeeze them together and pull the unit out by holding onto the door.

Shorter serpentine belt on 2001 jetta tdi

Yes you can get a shorter belt and bypass the ac. It may be as simple as going to the parts store and tell them you have 2001 jetta no ac. Just keep the receipt.
You should also disconnect the a/c compressor connectors/wires/plugs also, try doing this before you bypass the ac first incase doing so gives you warning lights on the dash board.
Also know that the defrost setting uses the a/c so it will take longer to get the condensation off the inside of the window.
